Well Flow International recently named Osama M. Hasan Baiej Vice President of Business Development for the Arabian Gulf and North Africa.
Baiej has more than 15 years of experience in business development and strategy, oilfield services, marketing and sales management, training and development, well construction and production services, well intervention services and wellbore cleanup services.
"Osama Baiej has shown excellent leadership and business skills in the past few years at Well Flow International," said Paul A. Bell, President and Chief Executive Officer at Group 42. "His appointment represents the evolution and growth of the team at Well Flow. It also reflects the company's emphasis on strengthening existing markets and developing new ones in the MENA region."
Prior to being named Vice President, he served as Well Flow’s Regional Manager for Africa overseeing operations and sales in Nigeria, Egypt and Libya. Baiej joined Well Flow International as a Marketing and Technical Services Engineer in 2006. During that time, he managed marketing and technical services in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt and Libya.
Prior to joining Well Flow, Baiej worked with United Arab Emirates-based Moraik Development and Oil Field Services as a Technical Engineer and Acting Operations Manager. Baiej also worked with Schlumberger Limited for over nine years in positions including Cementing Field and Sales Engineer, Technical Engineer and Project Coordinator for Shell Iran, Well Construction Services Engineer In-Charge and Well Services Field Service Manager.
Osama M. Hasan Baiej graduated from Al Fateh University in Tripoli, Libya with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
