Lucky Ademola joined Well Flow International in 2008 as an Offshore Account Manager. Today, he plays an essential role as the Operations Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is involved with nearly every aspect of Well Flow International’s daily operations in the country, and his job duties range from acting as a company technical liaison to leading client engineering teams. He also prepares proposals for wellbore cleanup protocols, stimulation and completion operations, and chemical treatment solutions.

Prior to working for Well Flow International, Ademola worked for Soco International plc in his native country of Nigeria. The Ambrose Alli University alum traveled to Saudi Arabia to receive his wellbore cleanup certification, at which point he learned of Well Flow International. Although he was heavily recruited by Baker Hughes and had a promising career path with Soco International, Ademola chose to join the Well Flow team because of the personal relationships he had built with the company over the years.

Ademola, a father of three young children, says his career trajectory always pointed toward the oil and gas industry.

"Even as a child, it was my dream to be closely involved in the upstream sector, and now that dream has become a reality,” he said.

His strong work ethic, competitive personality and altruistic disposition have helped him to progress rapidly in his career. When asked what advice he would give to others beginning their careers in the industry, he said, “Build a personal brand, build a career portfolio and start giving back.”

Outside of his time spent managing Well Flow International’s operations in Saudi Arabia, Ademola enjoys watching the television series Game of Thrones and playing football or tennis or swimming.
