Well Flow International offers different patterns of carbide laid on the steel collar along with the different noses. Carbide patterns of diamond and tear drop are commonly used, but a spiral pattern is also available. When tight hole conditions are encountered, the casing can be reciprocated to help broach the casing through the tight areas.
